Fort Belvoir has one every year that is a lot of fun. If you have kids, it's like a fair with rides and games. And they have a biergarten (sp?) and some craft tables. The one in Vienna is small.

There are several in the Northern VA area. Reston town center has one, Capital City Brewing has a big event in Shirlington that I hear is great. There is one at National Harbor but I went to that last year and it was a waste of time, would not recommend going. There is a german place in Leesburg called Doner Bistro that has a good Oktoberfest that I attend every year.

Reston's Oktoberfest is October 9-11. It includes a 5k, horse-drawn hay rides, and a fairly large carnival area for kids that is separated from the drinking and dancing area for the adults.

Seriously? I get first crack at this one?

It was six years ago. I doubt the tickets are still good.

Second limiting factor when buying 5 year old tickets.
