The Adams Morgan thread made me curious if most of us hang out in both forums, or just the Nova Forum. I don't know why, but I never go over to the DC Forum. I forget that it's even there. Guess I should check it out one of these days. Are there a lot of duplicate threads posted in both forums?

There are definitely some duplicates, but most of the threads are distinct. I've actually been surprised how little overlap there is between the two forums in terms of threads and posters.

Some of the posters hate suburbia, but others are quick to steer people towards the MD or VA burbs depending on the OP's needs.

You should check out the DC forum! Most of the posters don't bite

Same here. I live and work in VA, but my mindset is more DC, so I have equal knowledge of both, and check both every time I get on.

I'm in both because I spend time in both locations regularly.

The DC forum is much more helpful in apt finding-general info for Arlington/Farlington/Shirlington (and Old Town to an extent) than the NoVA forum. The NoVA forum absolutely skews old verses the much younger DC forum.

That's excellent, no matter what age group you're in you have a forum with people who can relate.

I don't. It's funny that the DC Forum is more helpful for Arlington issues than the NoVA form -- I consider Rosslyn-Ballston to be more apart of the city itself than the suburbia we live in out here.

I don't either. When I've been REALLY bored and/or wasting time I've checked it out - maybe 3-4 times in total.
