House in Herndon (Cavalier Dr & Herndon Parkway)
Hi,
We are a young couple (soon to be 3) looking for a house (relatively) close to DC. We are seriously thinking of signing the contract for a house in Herndon close to the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Cavalier Dr. Being new to NoVA (moved from Chicago), we have very little knowledge of the neighborhood and the school system. I have heard that Dranesville is an okay school. Also we could not really a get a feel of the neighborhood just by walking/driving around. The house is really beautiful but not knowing much about the neighborhood, I am caught in two minds. Any insight into the neighborhood and school will be helpful.
