Why is it so dark in Tysons Corner Center?
In Tysons Corner mall, most of the lights on the upper floor are turned off. The place is starting to look spooky now the days are getting shorter (and more cloudy). In the exit corridor between Bloomingdales and Chipotle, you can hardly see your hand in front of your face!
Is Macerich having trouble paying its electric bill? Is this some misguided attempt to save energy? Or is Macerich trying to recreate a real urban atmosphere, a dark alley where muggers might lurk around every corner?
If they want to save power why don't they turn off that damn loud music they play now? A shopping center isn't supposed to sound like a damn nightclub!
