Beautiful bike trail between Purcellville and Leesburg with tree cover most of the way. Get the kids into trailers and ride the 10 miles or so. Round Hill is right next door to Purcellville.

Next week, the new Wegman's will open in Leesburg.

It's not too late to enjoy the fall foilage. Go camping in Shenandoah and take in the sites on Skyline Drive.

I totally get this. It's funny to think of Wegman's as something fun to do with the family... but it is!

(Well.... as long as your kids don't mind a crowded grocery store. Because Weggie's can be a real zoo at times.)

Alright, Marge Simpson!

Marge: Next to Spring and Winter, Fall is my absolute favorite season.
Just look at all this beautiful foilage.
Lisa: It's not "foilage," mom, it's "foliage." Fo-liage.
Marge: That's what I said, foilage. It doesn't take a nucular scientist
to pronounce foilage.

Every time I see "foliage" in these forums I think of that episode.

Yipee!!! I'm looking forward to this even though I won't be shopping at the Wegman's in Leesburg. I'm hoping that all the crowds will head to Leesburg and "my" Dulles store will settle down a little. Wegman's is the BEST!!!

Loudoun Times has a long list of halloween events on the front page of the "Go" section. Looks like there are about a dozen or so in your area. The Haunted School House looks amusing to me, and the description says it appeals to kids in your age group.

You know, I hadn't thought about that effect, that will be great if ours gets a little less crowded. I hate going there on the weekends, it's a zoo!
