Default Arlington-Alcova Heights/Arlington Heights/Penrose Opinions?
Wondering what opinions are about these general areas? Good for families? Schools? Crime? Etc.? Interested in hearing any and all thoughts...

I don't know anything about schools but if you're near Columbia Pike, in general crime goes up as you go west away from the Pentagon.

With recent developments, all of these areas are improving, but if I ended up in Alcova Heights or Arlington Heights, I would probably want to be a bit north of Columbia Pike. Penrose near Columbia Pike is fine.
