Default Children Activities in Woodbridge Area

Hello to all,

My wife and I are looking at moving into the Woodbridge area for which I have stated on this forum in the past. We are still doing research and wondered about after school or local activities offered to young kids who are in grade schools.

Therefore I would like to know what people think of the activities (if any) offered in the Woodbridge area? What type of activities (sports, educational, free or fee) does Woodbridge offer? Are there any offered by surrounding neighborhoods?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for but like any well-developed suburb, Woodbridge offers just about everything you might want to put your kids into.

Soccer leagues (through Prince William Soccer and Mid-County Soccer) are big here. The rec centers (Dale City and Chinn) offer many other types of team sports such as T-Ball, Baseball/Softball, Basketball, Art Classes, Cooking, exercise for kids, etc.

There are also the various private-sponsored activities such as Tae Kwon Do, Karate, gymnastics/tumbling, and many, many dance studios.
