No matter who (or what) you support, the important thing is your vote counts. So just in case you haven't already heard this a thousand times..... don't forget to vote.

ps.... those of you who know me know that election day is the craziest day of the year in our household. Once its past we're unplugging the phones, shutting down the computers, and taking a long vacation from media in general. See you guys after Thanksgiving!

Voted this morning after the gym. There was hardly a soul there and it was a stark contrast to the presidential election. I'd be curious to see how many people actually come out and vote.

We put the kids in the stroller and walked up to the high school to vote around 8:00. There was a steady stream of voters in and out - nothing like the last presidential election, of course, but more than I've seen in most non-presidential years. I will be glad when the robocalls stop.

Don't forget to vote, unless you're voting for the other guy!

I voted at 9:30am - didn't even have to wait in line.

California has a very liberal Mail In Absentee vote program. There are very few regulations and generally, any proven resident can mail in vote consistently, without having to re-apply for mail in status in subsequent elections. I really wish VA was more progressive in the Mail In system. Not only is going to a voting station a pain, but it is not private. The scanner guy can see your votes (even with the minor effort of 'shielding' the vote with the folder). Also I had to change a vote (my toddler distracted me), the eraser did not work so the volunteer had to mark my vote as 'Spoiled' and give me a clean sheet. But my marked up sheet was seen by 3 voter volunteers!

Vote for Change! Vote for Mail In Voting!
