Commute from Kensington to NOVA
My wife and I are looking for a decently priced single family home. One of our options is Kensington, and we found some decent homes in decent neighborhoods. However, my wife works in Bethesda and I work in NOVA (close to Arlington). Can anyone tell me about the commute on the beltway from Kensington over the river? I currently live in Rockville and it is not too bad. Do you think that it would be worse coming from the west than from the north?

I would rather stick a hot poker in my eye than make that commute. My sister in law has done the drive from north Silver Spring for over 20 years. Its gross and nasty. Sorry to be so pessimistic about it. I'm just sick of the traffic.
