I have been throwing the idea around of opening a party business for a few years. We moved to the NoVa area recently and have noticed a lack of this type of business here....so I have been slowly working on a business plan and wanted to pick the brains of those that have lived here longer!

I would need a small (1000 sq ft) store front, and I would prefer that it be in a old town area, such as old town Manassas, or old town Occoquin. Those are just a few examples of what I am looking for. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I need a spot that is easily accessable to many, and a high foot traffic area would be great.

Thanks for any and all help that you guys can provide.

Stacey

town center of Herndon gets a lot of foot traffic for the suburbs, especially with the W&OD running right through it, plus it gives you access to the large population of kids in the Dulles Corridor

Good luck to you! There are some locations in Old Town Manassas that are open, in the shopping center that used to house O'Meara's.

When you find your place let me know, I'm a photographer and am always looking for more connections!!

Depends on what kind of party business. If you are doing birthday party, or party without alcoholic beverages, you should look into the Centreville area. There are three hugh high schools in that area, kids are constantly looking for a place to meet friends. Think also about good finger food to feed the party goers.
