LOL, I was thinking the same thing... try it and report back is one of those strangely worded requests that lead to all sorts of things. Smith and Clarkson's deli is located in the Ravensworth Shopping Center off of Braddock Road. I haven't been to this place, myself, but it seems like a pretty popular spot - always busy whenever I've driven by it.
It appears that they are open for breakfast and lunch (although breakfast is served all day). The menu looks intriguing:

Oh, I've been hoping folks wouldn't find out. Decent deli, Boar's Head meats, good breakfasts for a reasonable price.
