Gorgeous pictures everyone! Please keep them coming! michgc, once I get done with my nude snow angels in the middle of North Shore Drive later I might trudge on down and crash into your hot tub to warm up! In exchange I'll dig out your driveway for ya!

Here's what I do.

I have a free account on PhotoBucket (but another free online image-hosting site like Flickr works just as well). I connect my camera to my PC and upload my images to my albums on that image-hosting web site. From there you will usually see several ready-made hyperlinks below each photograph. You can copy and paste the HTML link right into the text field here on City-Data, where that magic [IMG]....[/IMG] code will morph into your picture when you submit the reply.

You can also just upload them to your PC's hard drive and click on the little paper clip icon in the text formatting toolbar on top of the text area of your reply on City-Data. From there you can search for your photos and insert them as thumbnails that people can click on to enlarge.

I look forward to seeing your work!

Taken at 9:50 AM. Probably closing in on 10 inches now, but I can't tell because there's a HUGE 4-foot deep drift now right at the end of my sidewalk from the snow plow.

I LOVE those angles! It's so surreal to look DOWN at cars parked on the rooftop of another building. I wonder how they undig their cars? Shovel it right off the roof? I'd hate to be the one walking by on the sidewalk below when that happens! LOL!

Sorry, Car54 is already coming to dig out my driveway with his big snowmachine thingy. Actually, the hot tub doesn't even have any water in it, so it's useless right now.

BOO! You're no fun! It's an "historic" Saturday blizzard! You should be out dancing around right now like I plan to do in a few hours as I walk to Home Depot to buy the snow shovel I should have bought a month ago!

This is out our front yard. Notice, the Town of Vienna has not been here to plow yet...

Default Falls Church 22046

I just opened my front door for the first time today, and I'm realizing that we need to shovel the stoop soon if I expect to be able to open it ever again

My poor car! You can see my street has been plowed a little bit. It's an emergency snow route, so I guess it gets priority. I can see some other streets nearby and they're still buried.

A very crooked shot from my front door, looking down the street. I love those big pine trees on the corner, they look so Christmas-y in the snow.

More to come when I actually venture outside with my son later.
