Me too, me too! No need for a bow or fancy wrapping paper, just send over the sunshine. We're allergic to puppy fur, though. Can you send us a parakeet?

I sure hope so! I'm sure you've got big plans for that $1.47. Let us know when you get the credit and how you decide to spend all that money.

How very generous of you to give your paper delivery person a yearly tip of $25. What does that work out to be per week? around 50 cents? Or 7 cents a day? Gee, I don't think that I'd do that job for so little money and such small tips. But that's just me. My guy has to drive here from West Virginia and then drive all over the country. He's missed two days in 15 months, one of them being last Saturday. I sent a somewhat bigger check for a Christmas tip because he does a great job and because I'd hate to see him quit. Driving to 7-11 everyday for the paper would be a lot more expensive, and time consuming. Delivered papers are a bargain. You're lucky to have it.

It would seem that if any backlogged papers were going to arrive, they would have by now. I'm sure that they will all be made up on the back end. FWIW, I got my Sunday paper on Monday.

In the meantime... during this holiday season and overall challenging times, the wish for "Peace on Earth and Goodwill toward (Wo)man" may be worthwhile to remember.

$25 seems like a decent tip to me.
