Normie, I didn't realize either, I hope you aren't feeling too bad, in comparison, my gripes are obviously minor.

Normie, my prayers are with you.

My good thing is that my daughter is still home from college until next weekend and I'm enjoying every minute of it!

On the other hand, there are some good things to say about today. It's kind of pretty outside in a silvery, wintery sort of way. I do enjoy having variety in my weather. The days are now getting longer, and when my cat and I stretch out in front of the window the sun feels really good. Wall Street Journal was unusually good today.

And you guys are here. I think we have one of the better forums here on city-data; I'm very grateful this isn't one of the cities where you never get a response or where everyone is very caustic.
On the chemo Normie, the way you I and ScranBarre go at it, I feel you have more than enough strength to prosper in your battle. Good luck.

Just to give an update, I talked with Normie's family yesterday. Everything went well and she's doing great. She's a tough cookie, and she's been through this before so she takes this stuff in stride. (She's like my sister in Vermont who laughs at 4 feet of snow.) If you've ever known someone who's had chemotherapy it leaves you very weak at first so I doubt she'll be posting much for a few days. But yesterday she said she plans on reading city-data so everyone here is instructed to "be interesting!"

Get the chemo over with while it's nasty cold outside. That way, you'll have plenty of energy for kayaking when it's warmer.

Hang in there Normie. I'd say something "interesting" but you know how Tone gets - LOL.
