Here's some news I know ScranBarre will enjoy hearing:

King Pinz, an upscale 14-lane alley in the shopping complex behind the new Wegmans, will open this spring. It will look similar to the popular and club-like Lucky Strike chain (the bowling alley of choice for Hollywood’s glitz crowd). However, this is a locally owned independent business. (I can hear Scran jumping for joy over this!)

It will feature low-slung sofas, pool tables, large television screens, gourmet food and a sports bar. It will have space for parties and corporate functions, plus be loaded with plenty of high-tech gadgetry such as gutter bumpers that pop up on their own.

Oooh how fun!! We love to go bowling but haven't been in ages.. There is already one bowling alley in Leesburg which is okay. This sounds like a fun place, thanks for letting us know!

Cool! Yep. You've got me Normie! This is something I'll be scoping out. "Upscale bowling alley" sounds like a fun concept to me. Most of the ones in PA were dives that reeked of thick cigarette smoke. I love the new Wegman's!

I wish there was something like this relatively close to the Sprinfield area. We have gone into Lucky Strike a few times. There is a place called Jillian's that looks neat too.

How fun! BUt are they making another exit out of the Target/Wegmans? I am so sick of waiting 10 minutes just to get out of there that I worry about more traffic...But I thought someone had said they are making another way out???

LOL, only if everyone promises to look the other way when it's my turn to bowl. Can you say gutter ball?!

This happens to you at Wegman's in Leesburg? I go there often, usually late in the afternoon and have never had any problem getting out of there. Where is the Target? I haven't seen it at Wegmans.

I think twinmma is thinking about the Wegmans in Sterling/Ashburn. There's a Target there as well and the traffic can be impossible at times. Sometimes they have LoCo deputies directing traffic there.
