Going to Bistro Bis tonight. I went there for lunch during a previous Restaurant Week and it was pretty good. In the past I've also gone to the Caucus Room (lunch), Zengo (lunch), La Promenade (dinner), Tabaq Bistro (dinner), and Capital Grille (lunch), which were all good.

I went to OYA last night and the food was great. It has a wonderful atmosphere which may have convinced me to set up a valentine's day reservation with them.

A lot of great joints around town put together menus with a fixed discounted price and multiple courses. It's a great cost effective way to check out good eateries. I went to Bankok Joes and might select another one for this evening. If you google restaurant week in DC you can pull up a long list of those participating and their special menus.

We went to Vidalia for lunch and it was amazing. I especially loved the Lemonade infused with ginger and rosemary. I would have drank a bucket of that stuff.

I have reservations with friends at Vermillion in Old Town tomorrow. I can't wait!
