Thank you Nova forum for being there for me.. I have been here two years and while I have had my up's and downs in this area I am grateful to have the city-data nova forum to come to for answers, and advice as well as answer some questions to help out others. After moving here from Roanoke and being a Richmond native I have to admit I was a little afriad at first, but I have been able to make this area my home.. To the regulars on this forum thanks again and I look forward to spending many more years on this forum! I truely found my niche in Nova and love every minute of my life here!! To those moving here, dont be afraid of the high cost of living (like most newbies) if I can make it here anyone can!

Well, the good thing is, with the increase in cost of living there is usually an increase in income. I am a teacher and mine increased 20K a year. I think that should cover it, not to mentioned the pay increase that my husband got. It all works out in the end....

...or they live in a less-than-desirable area. When I lived there I had to choose Fairfax County over Arlington due to my pitiful salary.

Nice thread, teebyrd, and thanks for stopping by just to say thanks. It's funny how often we forget to say thanks, but when we have a complaint we can't wait to tell the world.
