Default Anyone still have a snowpile left over from December?

LOL, this firmly packed snow castle was the last snowpile to melt away in my neighborhood. It was pounded, packed, and deliberately iced to ensure it would last as long as possible. But time passes, and today all that's left is one last ice patch about 1/4 inch thick. Even the giant snow mountains in the street have finally disappeared.

How 'bout you guys--any big snowpiles left?

Guess it must be time for it to snow again....

I had to look outside to see! We still have a couple of little hills in shady areas. Most of it has melted...just in time for a new storm this weekend???

We have one snowpile left at my street sorner. Now it's mostly just frozen over slush. I'm tempted to go shovel it onto the median. It's frozen water, right--might as well not waste it. It would be good for the grass, I'd think.

There's still snow piles left in Reston, believe it or not. I had to dodge them Monday afternoon on my run. They are generally in the North Shore Drive area near to Lake Anne ES. Hopefully the storm for the weekend fires back up instead of fizzling out.

finally the huge, gross, brown pile melted outside our apt this week, just keeping my fingers crossed that there is no more this weekend to replace it. They changed the forecast today from snow on Fri and Sat to just Saturday.

Timely post...I ran into the last of the "pile" when I parked my car at school this morning. There are a couple of small ones left up against the curb at our school.

LOL, that's one way to get rid of the last bits of snow--run right over 'em!

I ran into a rather large pile the other night in a parking lot. It was outside of Artie's in Fairfax. Of course the only parking spot I could find was the one partially taken up by the pile, but I backed into it anyway
