Still full power in Woodbridge. I have seen the lights "waver" a bit this morning but otherwise that's it.

We have full power in Cascades. Very minor blip of a power shortage this morning. We're very lucky to have buried power lines out here.

Ours was out for a period of time during the night, but back on by the time we got up. Hope it stays that way.

I live in Chantilly off Stringfellow, we lost power around 5am this morning as I was about to clean off the deck. We just got it back at 930am. Yes, I'm ecstatic! Thanks power co.!

Full power here on the West End of Alexandria, not one outage.

In Woodbridge/Lake Ridge last night, we lost power from 9-11pm and then again from 11:30-midnight. Power stayed on for over an hour then, until a transformer blew down the street from where we live (I actually saw the pop and bright light). Fortunately, this time power was only out for ~45 seconds until Dominion's computers were able to reroute our connection. Since then, we've been okay. Still crossing our fingers though, and praying for those who lack power.

Until the above-ground line that leads to your neighborhood breaks. That's what often happens in mine, which also has buried lines. Keeping fingers crossed.

You know....cops, firefighters, the military, etc get a lot of (well-deserved) respect for what they do.

But, IMO, the unsung heroes are power company linemen! Their's is an extremely dangerous job anytime, but can you imagine going up in a bucket in this weather to work on the high voltage lines? Where one little mistake can get you vaporized....PHEW!

My hat is off to 'em....life as we know it wouldn't exist without those guys!
