so i wack up this morning excited to see more snow, and there is barely anything. i am so frustrated

oh wait, since i'm constantly bombarded with up to date info on the storm and even i talk to much about the snow, i guess i should have known that the heavy snow fall is actually suppose to come this morning.

what's for breakfast, guys?

2 cups of green tea
2 fried eggs, medium w/ ketchup
2 slices of turkey bacon
1 100% whole wheat english muffin with natural crunchy peanut butter

I, too, am surprised at how little snow actually fell. There's only about a half-foot of fresh powder in Reston with only a few more inches on the way. That 10"-20" prediction for us was WAY overhyped. Amazing that they incredibly under-predicted the last storm and incredibly over-predicted this one. The winds from this storm, however, are a huge issue. I've already heard some more trees/limbs cracking. I'd imagine many more power outages are on the way.

Don't know, guys. Snowing pretty good over here now. WTOP said there'd been a lull in the storm overnight, but they're still sticking with the 10+ forecast.

Feel free to come over here and take some of mine!

Nice breakfast, blu monk. I'm having cheerios, banana, and an orange. Very happy to have power right now because coffee is an essential food group!

You ate too much. You'll have to drive up here to Maryland and burn off those calories shoveling.

Three inches in Woodbridge before bedtime last night.

Started up again at about 7:30. I think since we are more south, we won't get but about 6 inches here.

I had high fiber cereal for breakfast. With all this inactivity (I have sprained ankle anyway) and too many brownies, I need to keep things moving.

It looks like there's plenty of snow falling. I can't even see the street from my window. But not that much is sticking, it's just blowing around. Good--all you snowflakes can keep right on blowing until you finally land somewhere far, far up the coast.

Watch it Normie....I'm up from you and I don't want your stinkin' snowflakes! I'll try and blow harder to send them to MD.

My dogs were less than pleased to see the white crap flying. They pretty much did their business with pulled back ears and ran back inside.

Bluemonk - BTW - Yummy breakfast. I'm just now getting my coffee after putting in two loads of laundry, making eggs/toast for my girls and popping lasagna fixings into my crockpot for an estimated noon finish. Hoping to get it all done before power goes out.

We cleared the deck of snow yesterday and now there is a good 8 inches on top of the benches already. We are in Alexandria.
