What's your favorite place to get a cup of coffee in Nova?

I love Grounded Coffee Shop on Telegraph near Kingstowne. The owner is so sweet, the baked goods are amazing, and it's a wonderful excuse to escape my office for a few minutes to walk down the street to get coffee!

Caribou. Yes, stop the eyerolling, it's a chain... but it's a short walk from my house (in nice weather) and it has a drive-thru (in not-so-nice weather).

ITA!! Love their coffee, much smoother than Starbucks. Used to go to the one in Leesburg but they closed down. Their service has been amazing too.

I don't like coffee but I do get hot chocolate a lot and have found Caribou's kids to be the best. I buy Starbucks too but it is such a hit or miss. I know some who swear by dunkin donuts and others who think McDonalds is the best. (Oh and Caribou has great Pumpkin Bread!)

4. Buzz Cafe on Slaters Lane, just to the north of Old Town.

3. Trader Joe's. Bring your own mug because those little taster cups aren't going to cut it .

2. McDonald's. Yes. Coffee is inexpensive, tastes fantastic. I can't remember the last time I had actual food from McDonald's, but I have been known to pull through the drive through for coffee on a regular basis.

1. My kitchen. Seriously, once I ditched the drip machine and bought a stovetop moka, I realized I could make my own hot beverages taste far better than anything I could buy. I still enjoy coffee shops for the social aspect and free wi-fi (emphasis on free, which does not include trifling places like Starbucks), but for my daily needs, I prefer my own.

I prefer Caribou over Starbucks too Someone mentioned the one in Leesburg closed. The one I used to go to closed too, I wonder why. It seemed to do a good business. Now I have to go to Fairfax Corner to get mine....and thats one place I go only when I HAVE to, the parking is too much of a hassle!

I don't really get just plain coffee when I go to one of the coffee places, white chocolate mocha is my drink of choice.

I really like Shoes, Cup & Cork in Leesburg. Great food, great coffee, weird name. I have no idea what the name means, but they've got great sandwiches, and their fall coffee specialties are especially good. It's a nice place to stop in and spend a few hours on a weekend morning. Also, it has free wifi.

I don't normally drink coffee, but sometimes I crave a decaf from Dunkin Donuts. Their coffee is probably the best that I have tasted. They must put crack in it or something haha
