Sorryto rant, but I just can't take the news that we're getting yet another @%#*%#@ blizzard. Even if we don't get a lot of snow, I don't need blizzard-like winds. I'm supposed to fly to Dallas tomorrow on a very important trip. We fly at 9:30--hope that means we get out of the airport.

Also, does anyone know where this storm is blowing in from? I'm worried that even if we take off ahead of the storm, I'll still have to fly right into storm since we're headed for Dallas. Then I have to get on a little bouncy prop plane and fly to a town in Arkansas. Ugh! I hate flying as it is, the last thing I need is high winds.

Time to get the flamethrowers back out! (they might not let you take it as a carry-on though)

I think it's supposed to move east, come up the coast, and then move back in towards New England.
But from what I've been reading, the meteorologists are having are having a really hard time forecasting this one.

This morning they changed the forecast to 1-4", which isn't too bad. I'm going to hope for that, since my parents are driving down from Philly tomorrow and then we're flying to Florida on Friday. I need palm trees!

I think that's because it's supposed to swing east, but if it doesn't go as far as they think then the snow accumulation will change dramatically. I saw the forecast for Philadelphia today was either 4-8" or 12"+ (skipped over 8-12"). It's kind of an odd track.

I hope that's all it is. I also need to be picked up by a taxi so I can get to the airport. If we have 4 inches of snow it might be challenging for the taxi to get to my house at 7 am.

The bulk of the snow is supposed to come during the day on Thursday, so you should be ok.
