hello all

I read the old posts reg pediatricians in the northern virginia area. But i am hoping that I can find a good pediatrician at Centreville or Fairfax /Chantilly areas close to centreville. Can someone recommend me a practice that I could take my child too (she is on her way in another 7 weeks )

thanks
Shailaja

I have used Fairfax Pediatrics for 8 years and have been happy with their care. They have offices in Fair Oaks Hosp and an office in Centreville in the building across the street from the movie theater in Centreville (next to Long and Foster)

Thanks for the response. Can you recommend a few doctors at their office? they seem to have a long list of them.

Thanks

Dr Brynes is probably the most "friendly" doctor and good for nervous new Moms like myself. Once I got over that nervous period, I liked Dubinsky the best.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I am doing a prenatal appointment with them. Unfortunately Brynes and Dubinsky prenatal availability is too close to my delivery date so I am scheduled to see Dr Bernadette M. Murphy.

Hope it goes well. Thanks again

We have been very happy with Union Mill Pediatrics.

Union Mill Pediatrics

Dr. Wayne is our favorite, but I like all of the doctors there.

They are located in the medical building across from the IHOP in Centreville.

I 2nd Fairfax Pediatrics. I prefer Dr. Chung, Dr. Ohriner, Dr. Mazid and all 3 Nurse Practitioners are great! Dr. Dubinsky is actually my least favorite...our experiences with her have been mediocre and she doesn't come across as the warm and fuzzy type. But that is just my opinion based on our experience with her.

I agree w/ the comment about Dubinsky that's why I said Brynes is more friendly. Dubinsky can be brusque, but I would rather have a dr that knows their "stuff" as opposed to being all about the warm and fuzzies. Dubinsky has been the primary dr for a friend with a child with a TON of medical issues and her no nonsense approach and knowledge has been invaluable in comparison to some of the other dr's in the practice. I believe they are all good doctors, but have been impressed with Dubinsky's knowledge

I've been very happy with virginia pediatric and adolescent center next to fair oaks hospital. All of the doctors are very friendly and good with kids. We haven't had a brush off or anyone who obviously wanted to move on to the next patient. We've seen Dr. Cross the most and she's excellent with both the kids and nervous parents.
