If the apartment included 52" lcd, a leather L shaped couch and a L shaped desk. The items listed here would cost about $3k to $4k if they were purchased in the market now.

Honestly? Nothing. I have furniture of my own, I'm not sure what I'd do with the extra stuff!

I've seen high-end designer apartments listed for sale as furnished, and rentals with an option of being delivered furnished. However, the furnishings as described are more likely going to be in the "available at buyer request category," since it's not a full apartment, and as such I'd probably pay the going rate on eBay or CL for similar used furnishings.

Are the couches new? Anything used would be yucky.
And you can get a good quality leather sectional for under $1500 -

I wouldn't pay extra at all. That extra amount of rent you'll never get back. At the end of your lease, your rent will probably go up again. Better to start off with lower rent up front IMO.

How much are they worth to you? Do you like the sofa and desk? Do you want a 52" television? How old is the television and what brand? If you LOVE all of them, and they are relatively new, I'd offer $1,000, max, to buy them outright. Used furniture doesn't sell for much. I wouldn't agree to rent them.
