Well I mean the purple line extension, will at least happen eventually, I think. I mean there has to be some kind of 2nd crossing across the Potomac. once the purple line is built by 2017 assuming that gets funded it seems that might be the next logical project for metrorail in the dc area.

Yep, the mall at Pentagon City does this now (although even with validation, it seems there is always a charge. )

they could create a special express train for people with bladder problems. they could rip out the seats which would allow more passengers.

Not that some people don't already stand on the VRE - or so I hear - but that would be even rougher on a "Fredericksburg express" Metro train, bladder issue or not. lol
