See why I made my statement THIS YEAR! You assumed that the apartment would be section 8. You watched a developed community such as Potomac Club and a planned Town Center and got Section 8 out of possible apartments to be build? Far as I can see, Signal Hill is a pretty damn great apartment complex. Was suppose to be condos until the downturn in the economy. Moderator Cut

Whoa. The original poster heard there would be Section 8 at Potomac Club. At the time, this proposal was also made public in the local news and I had heard this too but had not clue exactly where it would be in the Potomac Club area.

This was from the original poster:

Hello,

I have read the threads regarding the issues at the Potomac Club. Has there been any updates to the bugs in the Ryan homes, security problems, is there really going to be section 8 across the street, etc?

This was my response:

I would just not move to Potomac Club. It is overpriced and as far as I can tell on this board, they have not delivered what they promised as far as amenities. I go past it once a week and it is coming along and it appears they are building an apartment building so maybe that is the Section 8 housing?

I wouldn't let the Hoodbridge stuff get to you. Quite honestly, it's made by people who insist on looking their nose down at areas they deem are beneath them. But, I live in Woodbridge and have for over 15 years. I like it. I don't hate it all. In fact, there are many things I prefer about Woodbridge over many areas in Fairfax.
Not sure why you think I was making some derogatory judgements about Woodbridge when I directly answered the query about Section 8 housing and then proceeded to defend living in Woodbridge.

You're looking for a fight for some reason.
