22042 is in Fairfax County, so Cox will be your cable provider. You might be able to get Verizon FIOS, though!

Don't go on what someone's "heard". Instead ask some of your neighbors there with it. We have it for cable, phone, and internet and it works great.

Everyone I know who has it is happy with the quality...but I was so turned off by the rudeness of their customer service people that I refused to sign up! If you can get past that and don't mind spending a little extra money, I've yet to hear anything bad about the quality.

I've been happy with Cox. The employees I've spoken to are really nice and polite, and our service has been very reliable (and for a lot cheaper than fios).

I really miss having Comcast though. Sure, TV would go out on occasion, but MAN was that cheap service! Every couple months I'd just call up and ask for the latest promotion, and get free dvr, free hbo, discounted internet, etc.

We live in Falls Church and have Verizon Fios. I am pretty happy with it (the only issue has been occasional problems with HD movies on demand).

Verizon FiOS - the service is just dandy - the customer service is terrible. Whatever you do, do not order it online - I do not know what happened and really if that is the cause - but I had my service transferred from high speed cable to FiOS online as I was moving. I called once while I was waiting for the service to be installed and was warned that there could be a problem in the future. I replied to this warning that it would be ludicrous that Verizon would offer an online service like this that does not work. Anway, two months late they shut off my internet and tv for no reason, a Verizon generated order I was told. The Verizon guy showed up the next day to 'install' the FiOS again (although they had installed it 2 months prior). Then they shut my phone off. I've been trying to get the problem they created fixed for the last 3 months. And I'm the one that had to follow up with Verizon to tell them there was something wrong. No one from Verizon called me and said "Hi. There seems to be a problem with your account that we created. We are sorry. We will fix the problem and get back to you. We owe you some money. We also signed you up for the wrong bundle" blah blah blah. I don't even know if my problem has been fixed yet as I will have to wait for the next bill. It has been absolute he!!. I never thought I would cry to 66th Verizon customer service person on my 65th hour in dealing with this problem, but I did! Ok, I feel better...
