Don't know. Never hunted with him.

Although he is very supportive of the Second Amendment, I do not think he is a recreational hunter.

Just can't get past the accent. We've never elected a president from there.

That's pretty petty .

But you didn't mind "Ah feel yer pain" with constant lip-biting?

Hunted with everything from plain jane Remington 870 to Holland & Holland. Although I have my favorites in terms of ergonomics and reliability, a gun is a gun. Whatever works is okay with me. I am not a gun snob.

Similarly, I'm okay with a stock Glock 19 to heavily customized 1911 (or that holy grail of handguns, SIG P210 in mint condition). Whatever floats your boat.

Never heard of hunting pheasant with a Glock. But as you say, whatever floats your boat.

Candidates have been declared unelectable for less. Shortly after opening his mouth on national TV he pretty much put himself into that category.

Well, obviously I do more than pheasant hunting.

I am clearly not one of those, "hunting guns okay," "assault weapons not" type of gun owners, am I? (And, yes, my pro-Second Amendment brethren, I know real assault weapons are select-fire weapons.)

But what's it to you? Ever since I debunked a lot of your inane statements (e.g. they spell "Bobo" differently in NYC -- yeah how?), you're trying oh so hard to find something to stick on me, but your efforts have proven futile.

Declared by whom? You again?

And, yet, there he is, doing a much better job than the Exalted One on the oil spill (for that matter, he was excellent in dealing with Hurricane Gustav).

You see, he actually has executive and decision-making experience. For starters, he turned around the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals from $400 million deficit to $220 million surplus in 3 years. He was the youngest president of the University of Louisiana system. He has been a good governor of a very hard state to oversee. And he has the educational credentials (Ivy League, Rhodes Scholar, accepted by both Harvard business and medical schools).

I don't care if the man talks "funny." If he has the character, the leadership and capabilities of governing well, he beats exalted talk with no subtance any day in my book.

CAVA1990 thinks people from Asia stick to their own kind, are prejudiced against blacks and Hispanics and don't contribute to the community at large.

I am not surprised he/she uses a regional accent as an excuse to declare someone from Asia "unelectable."

He's not from Asia as that would make him unelectable under our constitution. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
