Default Fredericksburg

Thanks for all the help. Have one more place in mind to relocate: Fredericksburg. Heard it was very nice, but getting crowded with Washington commuters.

Any help would be appreciated.

We loved our time in Fredericksburg (due to dh's job, we had to move last yr). It has a beautiful historic downtown, complete with cobblestone walkways, sidewalk cafes and eclectic shops. Just on the edge of town (actually in Spotyslvania Co) is the big shopping district with Central Park Mall---just about everything you could want or need can be found in that area.

It's on the VRE line which makes it great for commuting into DC. Property values have soared in recent yrs, but there are just some good deals to be found. We had a fantastic realtor that we discovered when we were moving there, and he handled our home sale last yr as well. His name is Gary Onks (broken link)

Fredburg has great museums-don't miss the Apothocary Shoppe-it's close to the Chesapeake Bay and so much more. We dearly miss that area.
