Can anyone recommend a pulmonologist who is knowlegeable and good at treating atypical asthma (e.g., cough-variant, etc.)??? I don't really care where the Dr. is located.

I'll have to look up his name, but I went to a doc, like you're asking about,, in Greenbelt, MD. He's by far the best doctor for Asthma or Allergies that I have ever been to. I'll to remember to get the name. Bump the thread if I forget.

If you have asthma, you should probably go see an allergy/asthma specialist since asthma is their specialty.

Actually, pulmonologists are better at asthma than an allergy/asthma specialist who mainly deal with allergies with asthma that is a byproduct of those allergies.

Your respiration isn't something you want to experiment on with unconventional therapies. That's a good way to end up not breathing. Go with the best pulmonologist you can find.
