Good call on Blue Ridge Grill! Every meal we've had at both locations has been fantastic. Most of the other folks here have hit most of my favorites, so I'm mostly just repeating what they said. Nevertheless, in no particular order:

Blue Ridge Grill
American Flatbread
Foster's Grille
Pei Wei
Chipotle
Chevy's
Anita's
Rio Grande

My favorite is a small chain called Culver's, based in Wisconsin. Delicious custard sundaes, shakes, and all sorts of sandwiches. Their hot fudge sundaes and caramel desserts are the BEST.

Mine are:
Outback
Fosters Grill
Longhorn Steak House
Anything in the Mike's American Grill chain.
While I, too, enjoy the Mike's restaurants, I don't consider them in this category, because each is different from the other and not duplicated elsewhere in the region. One of my family's favs is Los Toltecos, a Mexican fare eatery with several locations in the area and elsewhere. Cracker Barrel is another good one when on the road.

Oh, I had lunch at the Tombs today, which reminded me that I left the Clyde's family of restaurants off my favorites list.
