Docotrs and Dentists you might suggest... (Valparaiso: home, moving, office)

Valparaiso seems to be where we would be most interested in moving. I am trying to make MANY decisions about the area... including what doctors might be the best... Any suggestions? The entire family will need to find new doctors and dentists...even chiropractors! A lot of work if you don't know where to start...

As for a dentist, I would recommend Dr. Helen Kirscher on Rt. 30 in Valpo. She's a dentist & orthodontist - she's wonderful. Her office is actually attached to her home and her little dog follows her around from patient to patient.

Yuck I don't want a little dog in the room where I have my teeth cleaned, etc.

I think I'd have the same response if I didn't see it for myself.

The dog weighs about all of 5 lbs, doesn't make a sound and her office is very open - patients are in the same large room with shelving & monitors for privacy between patients. The kids think the dog is cool and it allievates a bit of dentist fear.
