And I have to disagree on closeness - Valpo & Lowell are about 30 miles apart from each other. And Lowell is about 40 miles away from Westville.

There may be an old depot in Lowell and there is "talk" about bringing the southshore into Lowell and Valpo, but that won't happen anytime soon.

I am keeping my feet firmly planted on the house on lafayette... but to be fair i picked a few others to look at.. not even sure where lowell is but it wasnt in my westville close by real estate search.. looked in wanatah.. was thinking it was cute but nothing for sale...
for the first few months i will be alone with the kids as joe sells this house in seattle so i wanna be closer to things.. cnat wait to try out that Y
and found my usaull stores i shop at and the nearest sams club

now all i will need to do is when i get there go to baileys and buy a bed frame and a desk
and then off to sams to buy a new mattress and i am so set
bring on the new life..

No he hated the house.. apparantly it needs way too much work and fixer upper is a nice word to describe it.. dang
he is on house number five now .. he will call me later and am i truly bummed out..suprised he hasnt just driven to north judson by now

OK so Joe called back and gave me the run down.. saw five houses and the one that stands out the most is in downtown la porte.. away form sex offenders too
anyone anyone?????
i might not be able to get anything in downtown valpo unless we wait and watch...but am willing to do that... but need to consider this la porte house.. its near the high school and the catholic church...

And there are quite a few homes available for rent in the downtown Valpo area - or there were the last time I drove through.

When did LaPorte come into the picture??? I'm confused! Schools are better in Valpo .... What happened to the house on Lafayette???

the house on lafayette was basicly falling down it was in a bad bad bad way.. so the agent showed joe a house in laporte that joe said was exactly what i asked for except it was in la porte.. Its right by the church and the school...

Renting is too hard to do.. I have three dogsand a Jack... he is three...I'd rather buy then have rent on my hands to take care of...

i promised to think about the house in laporte...
