I know several people that teach in LaPorte - they all live in Valpo and have children in Valpo schools.
I also know several, more than several actually, teachers from Valpo. And they all live in, and send their kids to, Valpo schools.
Take it for what it's worth.  |

so maybe private schools and a really cool house in laporte huh 
my kids are almost 14 and 1 and 3...the almost 14 is the girl....i had already decided catholic schools for the boys..
joe said the house is too die for..he is emailing me the pictures now. |

Here's another thing to keep in mind - I believe the nearest Catholic High School is in Michigan City.
Which really isn't too far BUT ... and to me this is a HUGE but because I cannot stand driving in horrible weather ... the LaPorte & MC area can be heavily hit with lake effect snows. With no bus service for private school it may become a big deal to drive the 10-20 miles to MC during a lake effect snow storm.

HAHA i am using the boarding school thing over the girls head as we speak....
I really like the house in laporte alot.. i will post a pic later after we decide what to do about it.. its not on the market yet and i dont want to push joe.. he is already losing it out there..
but believe it or not he is in north judson as we speak..LOL
then he is driving by a house in kingsbury he liked...
i might be making my own trip in two weeks |
