OK sorry it took so long to get back to you all. The hous efailed inspection. in fact the inspector was suprised it hadnt burned down yet. as the guy did his own wiring and it was a mess. at least 20,000 to redo all his wiring.then the fireplace is falling down wood rot and who knows what else.. oh yeah the big tall window leaks and is filled with mold.. the house is a mess maybe 50,000 in damage all together.

the guy didnt even want to see the inspection report when we renigged on the deal.. so he must have known..
its all very wierd..

so we bought the house our realtors are currently residing in in laporte.. it was about to go on market and i chose the other one instead. this was always a better choice i just wanted the land and three bathrooms.
i move there officailly on july 1.
right in downtown laporte .. in a very cool historical landmark.. pics to follow soon

Default Living in North Judson
Living in North Judson is not bad at all. It is a quiet place with a great school system. I have lived here all my life. My husband moved to North Judson from Valparaiso and loves it! Sure we do not have all of the advantages such as Wallmart, Target, and Starbucks but it is only a 30 minute drive to Valpo. The homes are way cheaper. We bought a home for 141K and in Valpo our state farm rep told us it would of been at least 350K.... something to consider....

I know NJ is further to drive to help with grandma but don't wanna be passing up on an opportunity to save money and live in a quaint place.

Also we are leaving our jobs behind too. for a few months we'll be OK but eventually we both need to get back to work.are there any jobs at all near North Judson at all? of any kind?[/quote]
