We bought a home for 141K and in Valpo our state farm rep told us it would of been at least 350K.... something to consider....
I'm sure North Judson is a quiet place and a great way of life for someone seeking true country living ... but, and this is a huge but, it does not have a great school system. Their scores are consistently below stage average.

Hey everybody!

I think it was this thread that I read something about Valpos Popcorn Fest (if this is the wrong thread--sorry). When is it this year? I may want to attend to try and get a feel for Valpo.....

Thanks

It's always the first Saturday after Labor Day ... it's September 6th this year.

If you're coming in from Rt. 30, park at Hayes Leonard school and take the bus to the fest. MUCH easier than trying to find parking remotely close to the downtown area.

And, there's the Blueberry Festival in Plymouth every Labor Day weekend.

We look forward to making the trip up to Northern Indiana every year for it.
