We are going to a wedding at ND, followed by 3 weeks up in Michigan and will have our dog for the trip. We need a kennel or dog sitter who can board our lab for three days in the South Bend/ND area.
Do you know of any? All I can find is Linda's K9 Camp & it seems a little much (required $17.50 interview by camp counselors and "other campers"....er, dogs?, temperament testing, several enrollment forms, etc. I don't mind the price, but it just all seems strange! Have not been able to find just a straight up, reputable kennel who can take a reservation over the phone & then take my doggie for a couple days. |

Check with some of the local vets, they are the best source of info.

Reeves Dog Kennel in Valparaiso/Wanatah is excellent. A little less that 1 hour from ND.

We went for a mini reunion at ND last year and left our dog at Kryder Kritter Hotel in Granger. Not too far from campus and in the right direction for us dropping off and picking back up (east of ND). Very nice facility and people.
