i think the closest decently priced place might be the trader joes in orland park? :/ |

I have a good friend in Indiana who is Vegan. I'll have to ask her where she shops. I sent emails to Whole Foods trying to get them to come. Right now they are only in the Chicago and/or Indy area. Too bad because I do prefer organic myself.

It's not Whole Foods but Wise Way (at least the one on Rt. 30) has recently expanded their organic section.

Valpo life is good. We ate at Pikk's tavern over the weekend and really enjoyed it. So far we are really liking the restaurants.
I went into Wise Way on Calumet and they have a pretty good selection. I'm wondering if the Wise Way on 49 would have more. It looks bigger. I haven't been there yet but will probably check it out next weekend.

There's a Wise Way on 49???? I used to shop at the Jewel's on 49 in Chesterton ... I liked their selection.

It's before Jewel if coming from Valpo and on the same side of 49. It looks new and big. I may head over there this weekend.
