Moving to CP?
My wife and I have been considering a move to CP from NW Ill. but have been told by several people, one a real estate agent, that the North side of CP is going to the dogs. If this is true what part of CP is worth investing in?

JMurr, I used to live in NW Illinois. Where are you at?
My parents lived in CP, and I graduated from their High School.

I'm also not familiar with any part of Crown Point that's declining.

Sorry Cap. Dan , I was misinformed, part of CP is in Porter Twp. not Cty. I understood the North Side is not so great anymore. I have seen houses on Realtor.Com priced much lower for comparable housing on the N. side as opposed to S.

Certainly there are northern parts of CP that are more established, but to categorize it as "going to the dogs" is ridiculous.
