Fighting for a job for my kids...
My kids don't stand a chance. They want to start their life and raise kids, but the price of houses and cars, there's no way. Clinton and Bush, (Kennedy), have opened the border. First minimum wage raise in ten years. Illegals taking the jobs the entry level jobs that they would start with.
Tax incentives, (20 years some of them), for the businesses to locate in your city. Who do you think pays for roads, police, fire and schools? If you get a raise and your insurance goes up $30. more every year while your wages stay the same, can you keep up. Can you keep up if your Son or Daughter moves back in with 2 little ones? I was looking to retire, but now I'm bailing out our kids because businesses decided hiring temporary workers helped their bottom line. They didn't just use to get over the humps, they bumped their bonuses by using it.
Well sometimes it comes back to the makers. Welcome to our world Mr. Business owner, with the wages you want to pay, we cannot afford your product.
