Smile Moving from Milwaukee to Lake Station/Hobart

Hello,
My fiancee, my son and I are moving from Milwaukee WI. I lived in the Hobart/ Lake Station area for about ten years but have lived in Milwaukee for the past 5. I am trying my hardest to find us a house. We are looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom for around $650 a month. We have tried Craigslist and NWI.com and other websites but the ones we do find are very weary because we will be moving from out of state so my fiancee wont have a job there until we actually move. I understand things are hard right now for everyone but if anyone knows of a place where they would be willing to work with us that would be great. I myself am on disability and go to school online. Our son is 18 months old. We are not party animals and take very good care of where we live. We would even prefer a place that needs some fixing up with a landlord that doesnt mind if we do it. We love doing that type of stuff. Thanks for reading. Oh and we would prefer RF district but not required our son is to young for school right now anyway.

Not familar with Lake Station rental prices, but I would guess you're going to have a tough time finding a home in those two areas for $650.

I would suggest googling some local real estate companies and asking for help. Since the real estate market is so slow, you might be able to find a home currently for sale that the sellers might be interested in renting.

Good luck to you!
