All ghost stories have supposed "witnesses" (the person who first tells the story), and it's impossible for pictures or videos to be proven to be legit. Otherwise there would be widespread scientific acceptance of ghosts. It still comes down to what you believe.

I respect anyone and everyone's beliefe on any paranormal subject.I believe in ghosts/spirits,yet no I don't believe in crop circles, mythical creatures or things in that nature. But I respect anyone's opinion though of course maybe I won't agree with it.My main point being the paranormal will never be believed by EVERYONE and that's life, you got to respect it.

I know of a haunted place in East Chicago, IN. It is an old bank building known as the Riley Bank building. It was said that a man murder his wife in that building and after this tragic incident employees experienced screams from that room and gun shots. It was said that these hauntings caused the relocation of that particular financial establishment and several other businesses. It is empty now and has been empty for a long time. I was an unbeliever and ofter ran past the building. My Aunt worked for the city and told me a story of how the city would board up all the windows but where the particular murder happened the window would be down the next day. I laughed at the story and then one night I was riding from school (college) and this very horrible smell entered my car. I felt a presence, i rolled down the windows and the smell got worse so I stopped about 50 feet after passing the building and began to pray and just as fast as the smell arose it dissipated. I backed up my car to see if I had ran over something and nothing was there. To say the least, it scared me and I never spoke about that building again, until now. http://www.eastchicago.com/resource_...eservation.pdf. The murder happened on the top level back office north end of the building.
God's Blessings on your life!

Fair enough. If you had said "believable stories" rather than "real" ones, I'd have understood. Hope you find what you're looking for.

There ia an older apartment buildings across from the Columbia Center apartments that was documented a VERY long time ago. The Hammond Times Newspapa, as it use to be called did a story on the apartment. MY mother was friends with the older woman that lived there. This woman was very religeous and not a crack pot. What would happen, would the kitchen cabinets would fly open and dishes would be through through the air at random. Other things also occur as well, but I will have to talk to my mother to see what she remembers. If you were real interested I would go to the library this was document some time in the 1970's.

I asked my mother about it today. She said that if you were on Columbia Ave, it was on the west side of Coulmbia. There was a store then about 3 or 4, two-story apartment buildings. She said it was the second apartment building. The older woman this was happening to, lived in the second buidling, first floor. The article was in the Hammond Times, written approximately 1967 (?) My mom said she read the article as she use to know the woman's daughter Marie and they saved the article in a frame. The woman had a an Open China Hutch that she kept her dishes on. On several occasions the dishes would for no reason fly across the room and hit the floor. The Hammond Times published a picture of the dishes on the floor and wrote an atricle. Needless to say the woman lived there for the term of her lease and got the heck out. Again they lady that lived there was know to be sane, VERY religious and truthful.
