Default Rensselaer indiana

I am looking to relocate to Indiana from the twin cities.
I will be working in Munster while my Girlfriend will be going to school in West Lafayette. We are looking to Rent a home in the rensselaer area while our home sells in MN. (homes are taking 3-12 months to sell here right now). Are there any suggestions about areas that would be better to live in, taking into consideration the commute? We do not have children so schools are not a factor. I am also having a hard time finding homes for rent in the area online. Are there any suggestions or leads that might help?

Thanks...

Rennsalaer is very small town. There's a college there (St. Joseph's college). You're best bet would be to chat with a realtor regarding rentals. Try to get as close to 65 as possible so your commutes north and south won't be so bad.

Best of luck!

If your not scared of real small towns, Remington (~2000) is about 12 miles south of Rensselaer and almost right on the interstate (2 miles away).
