While driving the Miller Beach area I didn't see a single grocery store (other than a Mom & Pop shop). How far do residents drive to shop? I take it there are no Trader Joe's in the area
What about shopping areas for clothes and other items?

I don't think there are any TJ's in the area either. The closest thing you'll get is some of the gourmet/organic stuff at the Costco.

The only person I ever heard refer to it as "Westlake Shoppingtown" was that Michael Esseny guy from Valpo ... now THERE'S a blast from the past ... remember is E! show? Wonder where that kid is now?

I sure wish there was a Trader Joe's. I miss it. I've sent them a couple of emails trying to get them to consider NW Indiana. I think they have a store in Indy.

There are 2 TJ's in Indy ... within proximity of both Costcos. I keep sending messages to TJ's to get one here too ... just keep plugging!
