Default Moving to Merrillville - any help out there?
My husband is being transferred from Tampa Fl to Merrillville in 2 weeks and our 4 kids and I will be joining him once we find a house for rent - which leads me to my biggest problem:

We can't find any houses for rent online anywhere!

Is there some trick we're missing? Does anyone in that area know of any site that has rental houses in Merrillville?

It is very hard looking for houses from Tampa. Does anyone out there work for a rental property mangement firm?

What is the town like?

How are the schools?

Are the people friendly?

Any help is encouraging!!!

His office will be in Merrillville, but we are allowed I think a 20 mile radius. Any suggestions?

Search through the classifieds on here.

Since you have a 20 mile radius you might consider Schererville--schools a bit better or Crown Point--also better schools.

Tampa to NW Indiana---quite a change---especially in the winter!

local schererville real estate firm handles rentals...Northwest Indiana Rentals, providing rental properties for the Northwest Indiana area
