I am planning to relocate to Honolulu in the next few months and was wondering if anyone can help me out with any type of info on the following neighborhoods/areas , ( what are they like , crime , safety seedyness, walking/bus friendly, etc...) :

waikiki : these streets : Ala Wai Blvd , Ala Moana Boulevard , Kuhio Avenue
basically looking for a studio , that is clean, in safe area, no drug dealers etc.... in the waikiki area, or in honolulu , I will not be having a car, ( I like walking ), I work from my computer, and maube will get a p/t job later, but i dont need a car, but would like to be close enough to walk to grocery , shopping etc...
I am trying to keep the rent $$ to about $1200 or less, it may hard , i know, but please let me know waht you know .....

All of the streets you mentioned in Waikiki would be about the same as far as safety, walkability, stores etc.....just stay away from chinatown!
