Default have you moved yet?

Hello. My family and I are considering moving to Oahu. Have you moved yet? have you found out about the schools? Any help you have would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Cool Oahu Schools

Aloha:
I would strongly recommend that you apply to Waialae Elementary, which is a public charter school located in East Oahu. Our experience with this school has been outstanding. Being that it is a charter school, you can apply for it even if you live in another district without a district exemption.

As a general rule, most of the East Oahu schools rank fairly high - primarily because of the income level of the area, but Waialae is exceptional.

In Kailua/Kaneohe there are Lanikai Elementary, Aikahi Park Elementary and Maunaaili Elementary. All three are very good schools, for Hawaii public. My son just started Kindergarten at Maunawili and we absolutely love it.

As for middle and high school, there isn't a public school on the windward side I would send my kids to, unfortunately. But there's private schools here: Le Jardin Academy and a Catholic private school called St. Anthony's.

Waikiki Elementary is GREAT.. if you can afford/find a place to live within that school boundary area... Great staff and great test scores on the standardized testing..
