I am planning on perhaps living at Kulana and am wondering if anyone has anything to say about this artist's retreat? I was born on Oahu but haven't been home (to Hawaii) for about 15 years (living on mainland) and feel a yearning to move back home. As an artist, and a single woman, I seek a commune or similar type of community. I am spiritual (not religious), having had lots of supernatural experiences being raised in Nuuanu, and would love to know about communes or retreats where living and working is possible, anywhere in the islands. I am also a massage therapist (licensed in Florida) and a natural healer and want to practice in Hawaii. Much Mahalo for all advice given.
