Looks like you are from Eureka, CA and do not have any specific knowledge/information about THIS BUILDING.

I am interested in hearing from people who work/live in Honolulu and know about this. Thank you.
Don't make assumptions. I worked in Honolulu and Pearl Harbor as a Federal employee for twelve years and am very familiar with the PK Federal building and its denizens. 'Bye.

Ok then, how about answering my question - do the attorneys in this building wear traditional suits or not?

Binky, if you are going to live in Hawaii, you better learn how to treat people with "aloha". I suggest you do some studying up on the true meaning of that word. Then come back to the forum and start all over again. You haven't even acknowledged those of us who have tried to give you a reasonable answer!

I currently work in a federal building (not Hawaii) which houses many different agencies. We all have different dress codes. What I wear to my office is not the same as what I wear in court (I am an attorney) but it is also different from what other federal agency employees wear on a day to day basis. The dress code is set by the agency and the office and, in my case, the collective bargaining agreement. I will be transferring to the Honolulu office and I assume that whatever dress code established for my particular office will apply to me, and only me within my own agency.
What your dress code may be will be dependant on you agency/office protocol and no one can answer that question but your agency/office

It's Aloha Shirts and Dockers / slacks for most. If you're in a position where you have to dress up, then a jacket and tie but 95% of the time it's "Aloha Wear" every day of the week.
