Does anyone know of any service that we could use to get our 70LB Doberman from HNL Int'l airport to our new home in Honolulu?? All help is greatly appreciated.
Its hard to tell what kind of help you need, but I'm guessing it's physical?
Try looking for people like dog sitters. Or call a place that boards or even grooms large dogs. They will have people who are used to handling large dogs and might be willing to do a job on the side.
Next up try Humane Society, if you are willing to give a nice donation they might have a volunteer who can lend a hand.
Sorry I'm not on Oahu, so I don't know of any services/companies, but you can probably Google those types of businesses, or call a vet and start asking for names of those companies.
Jay (808/538-3355) at Aloha airport shuttle removed his van seats, whisked us to the quarantine station, and straight to the nearest park for a potty break. He got our two large crates plus luggage to Kailua. Moderator cut: Links to personal blogs are not allowed here.
